CRACK

Crack is a smokeable form of cocaine and is made up of cocaine, baking powder and water.

It has the effect of making people feel alive, exhilarated, confident and wide awake. For some people the effect when they are coming off crack is to make them get aggressive or violent.

It is also known as pebbles, stones and rocks.

Included in the risks:

  • It is very addictive
  • Death can be caused by an overdose
  • Frequent use can cause loss of sex drive
  • Using alcohol and cocaine together or heroine and cocaine together can cause death

Crack is a class A drug so that is illegal to have, sell or give away. Possession of cocaine can mean a 7 year prison sentence and supplying cocaine can mean a life sentence and an unlimited fine.
