Everyone in Wales should have a say in how their country is run. One way of doing this is by voting in Assembly and UK elections. But what if you’re not old enough to vote yet?
The Assembly is everybody’s Assembly. We want to know what everyone thinks about the future of our country. This includes people of all ages, religions, ability, sexual orientation, ethnicity or gender.
If you’re aged between 11 and 18, we need your help. We want you to tell us what matters to you, what you expect from us and what we can do to make sure your voice is heard. We need you to tell us what the best ways would be for you to get involved in the Assembly’s work.
Maybe you’re not happy with something that’s going on in your local area and you want to change it; or maybe you think the voting age should be lowered. No issue is too big or too small. Once we’ve heard the opinions of as many young people in Wales as we can, we’ll look at what you’ve told us and make suggestions for making it easier for you to get in touch with the Assembly and make a difference.
You’re the voters of the future and it’s important that you have a say now in how Wales is run.
