Balancing the Council’s budget - the difficult decisions facing the Council.
The UK Government is making all Councils across the country spend less and save money. How each Council does this is up to them and Wrexham Council wants to ask you how you think they should do it.
Should they spend less on some services?
Should they charge more for some services?
How else do you think they could save money?
So many Council services affect young people – from children and young people's services like schools and youth clubs, to more general services like council housing and transport.
To find out peoples views on how the Council should save money they carried out an online survey called YouChoose. This was a budget simulator exercise that asked people to tell the Council how they think the Council should balance the budget.
Thank you to all those who took part in the survey. The survey is now closed
and the Council is analysing the results to find out what people think. Please look out for the results of the survey and next steps on the Young Wrexham website.
