Children and Young People Service Wrexham Promise (2006 - 2016)
Wrexham will ensure that all children and young people have every opportunity to fulfil their potential, in a bilingual environment, that respects and values all traditions and cultures.
In order that children and young people can fulfil their potential, we intend to work together with our partners to provide the services, protection, support and encouragement which children and young people need to become confident and capable individuals.
We promise that our service will enable all children and young people to:
Below we describe what we aim to achieve over the next 10 years and what difference it will make to children and young people when we achieve those aims. We will develop ways to check if we are making a difference. Each year we will set ourselves targets and describe what actions we are going to take to deliver the aims.
We recognise that children and young people are not all the same and that some require additional support in order for them to fulfil their potential. Others will need additional help so that they can participate fully, take advantage of all opportunities and deal with the complexities of the society in which we live.
Learn and Achieve
