Grants vary in amounts from £500 to multi-million pound grants depending on the scale of the project

Lots of people can apply for a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund from small community groups to churches and councils, as long as a project involves the conservation of heritage or enables the public to have better access to heritage

Projects in Wales that have benefited from Heritage Lottery funding are the Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff, Aberystwyth University and the regeneration of Colwyn Bay town centre
