Info Shop - Sexual Health Service
Wrexham INFO Shop have nurses in three times a week (please see below for days and times) and during these times they can provide advice on contraception and can prescribe the Combined pill, the Progesterone only pill, the Depo Injection, the Morning after pill and the Implant. You will need to book an appointment for the implant which are available on Wednesdays and Fridays between 3pm and 5.30pm, everthing else is on a drop in basis.
Youth workers are in the INFO Shop throughout the week for advice and support on a range of topics including sexual health. Condoms are also available from Monday to Friday during our opening hours.
For a health check up (STI test) you will need to visit Wrexham Maelor Sexual Health Service. Chirk Hospital have a drop in on a Wednesday if you do not wish to wait for an appointment for a check up.
If you need Emergency Contraception (the morning after pill) and the INFO Shop is closed or the nurses are not in here is a list of chemists for you. Put your postcode in the search box to find a chemist near you.
