Senedd Yr Ifanc
The Senedd Yr Ifanc is a group of young people aged 11–25 who come together to discuss issues that effect young people in Wrexham.
The Senedd Yr Ifanc:
- Encourages awareness of the UNCRC (United Nations' Convention On The Rights Of The Child)
- Has successfully completed a wide variety of work, including consultations for the council, interviewing, and raising issues within Wrexham
- Now working on the five main issues identified by young people living in Wrexham. These five issues are education, drugs and alcohol, sexual health, welsh development and young peoples reputation.
- Is a joint project with the Wrexham County Council and AVOW (Association Of Voluntary Organisations)
- Is part of The Big P participation model for Wrexham
