Yn Gymraeg

I packed my suitcase the night before so that I would have to do less on the day of leaving.

I was picked up from the INFO shop at about one o’clock.

The bus then went to Flintshire and then to Anglesey.

I went through Flintshire and then Wrexham again to get to Welshpool.

The bus journey was very eventful (Geoff) and we finally arrived in Welshpool at seven o’clock which meant I had been on the bus for six whole hours.

On the first night I met a lot of different people from all over Wales. I spent most of my first night with my friends and this meant I went to bed at one in the morning. My roommate was not impressed that I strolled in at this time.

On the second day my roommate woke me up way too early, for breakfast, at 8am. The breakfast consisted of sausage and egg. After breakfast I had to choose whether I wanted to do a video workshop, creative writing workshop or a photography workshop.

I choose to do the video workshop. I thought that the video workshop was very good because I found out a lot of information.

In the afternoon on the second day I went down a zip wire and also climbed a rock climbing wall. I really enjoyed going down the zip wire because I found it fun. I also really enjoyed going up the rock climbing wall because I felt like I had achieved something when I reached the top.

Another thing that I did on Saturday afternoon is archery. I found archery very good when I got used to it. The final thing that I did on Saturday afternoon is I went caving. I did not enjoy caving as much as the other activities.

On Saturday night I spent most of the time with my friends and I had a really good night. I walked in my room at two in the morning and I was a lot quieter walking into the room which meant that I did not wake my roommate.

On Sunday I woke up, had my breakfast and said goodbye to all of my friends, and got home safely.

The guys and gals from Flintshire had a great weekend too and one of them is in one o your photos. I heard about the journey (Geoff!!!)and they nagged him about it at the CLIC Awards in Cardiff recently. Keep up the good work sending in great articles and you could be a winner at next year's awards. See you there!
