It was Friday 28th September and I was up unusually early. There was a reason why I was up so early though... it was because it was one of my favourite times of the year: another CLIC weekender.

When I woke up I got a message from my friend Rob who wanted to make sure I was up and to find out what time we were meeting. It was 11am and I met rob in the local shop so that we could buy sweets and drinks for the journey because we knew it would be a long trip, then it was time for us to meet the bus.

When I got on the bus I was very happy because I got to see my friends from CLIC. I went to the back of the bus and joined them and we had a good chat. It was a long journey but it felt shorter because we had three stops. When we finally got to Llangrannog we got to meet our South Wales friends and took our cases to our rooms. Following that we went over the ground rules for the weekend.

Friday night was a mad night because we were just catching up with old friends and making new ones. I was tired on the first night so I went to bed at the (reasonably) early time of midnight.

I woke up early on Saturday morning because I wanted to be one of the first in the shower before breakfast. That plan did not work very well because, when I opened my suitcase, I realised that I had remembered to pack everything apart from my towel! So I went back to bed and had another half hours' sleep before getting up for breakfast.

After breakfast we spent the morning working on getting an I-Spect qualification. We then had lunch and got ready for the afternoon activities which were skiing and rock climbing. After the rock climbing I got back to the accommodation and found out that they had a few spare towels so I was able to have a shower before the night's activities It was then time for tea and some more I-Spect training.

Then came my favourite bit of the weekend: CLIC's Got Talent which is where anybody who thinks they have a talent shows it off. I personally did not take part but I like to watch and see what talents everybody else has. After CLIC's Got Talent it turned into a disco and I just talked to my friends and danced. It was about 1am when I got to my room but I was talking to my roommates till half past.

The first thing I did on Sunday morning was get a shower and get ready for breakfast. After that we had the final piece of I-Spect training to do. After I had completed the training I went to collect my hoody for completing the course. Once we all had our hoodies we took a group picture and packed our cases. Following that was one of my least favourite parts of the weekend which is saying goodbye to my friends from South Wales because it was time for us to come home. On the bus on the way home we discussed what we thought of the weekend. And then before I knew it I was home and said goodbye to my North Wales friends.
