The Young Wrexham web editorial group got to meet Tom Hughes-Lloyd, a talented young man from Wrexham who is a contestant on Sky 1’s Got To Dance series. Tom, 14, met the editorial team and was able to explain why he loved dancing so much and what he hopes to do in the future.

How old were you when you started dancing?

11 years old.

Who are your dancing idols?

Greenteck, Salah and Nonstop.

What is your favourite music to dance to?

Dubstep and old school funk.

How often do you practice dancing and where do you get your moves from?

Everyday after school, moves are from the internet.

What’s the crew like on Got to Dance? And have you recorded the final. Yet?

The crew are all so friendly. The final is live.

What will you spend the prize money if you win?

A trip to Las Vegas.

Have you used your celebrity status to get time off school?

Yes, lolJ.

Have you had any freebee goodies?

Yes, a hat with my name on it.
