A group of Year 9 boys from Darland School recently held a Bake Sale in aid of Help for Heroes.

The event took place at the school and a variety of home-made cakes were sold to staff and students.

A total of £122.55 was raised which will be given to the veterans charity.

Cllr Ron Prince, Lead Member for Youth Services and Anti Poverty, said:

"The boys are a credit to their school and they should be very proud to have raised funds for our veterans."

Disgyblion Darland yn Cefnogi Help for Heroes

Yn ddiweddar bu i grŵp o fechgyn blwyddyn 9 Ysgol Darland werthu cacennau er budd elusen Help for Heroes.

Cynhaliwyd y digwyddiad yn yr ysgol a gwerthwyd amrywiaeth o gacennau cartref i staff a myfyrwyr.

Casglwyd £122.55 i'r elusen ar gyfer cyn-filwyr.

Dywedodd y Cynghorydd Ron Prince, Aelod Arweiniol Gwasanaethau Ieuenctid a Gwrth Dlodi:

“Mae'r bechgyn yn glod i'w hysgol ac fe ddylen nhw fod yn falch iawn o gasglu arian ar gyfer ein cyn-filwyr”.
