Do you use social services? Are you a young carer? Do you have ideas about how to make things better?
Why not come along and have your say on Wednesday 26th August 10am – 4pm at Venue Cymru, Llandudno
Travel Expenses & lunch provided
Welsh Government is working with Children in Wales and Voices from Care to get a stronger voice for children and young people in Wales. This is to make sure that children and young people get a say in the way social services will work in the future – a say that will be heard by the Minister for Health and Social Services.
So what is happening?
Three one day events will be held in the summer and these will be supported by CiW/ Voices. These are exciting opportunities to use videos to record what young people think about issues that matter to them and that are part of the changes social services will be making.
The information about the one to be held in North Wales is here.
Who will see the films?
By the end of each day, we will have recorded the views of children and young people which will be shared with the Minister for Health and Social Services and the Leadership Groups.
What else is happening?
At the moment, there are plans to run more events in autumn and spring half terms.
We will also be looking at the make up of our National Citizen Panel later in the year and there may be opportunities for children and young people to be on this panel.
