Rest Centre
A rest centre is a building that has been chosen by those in local authority. It is a place where you can stay if your home is not safe. There will be food, water and bedding for you to use. It could be a school or community centre.
Rest centres are set up in extreme emergencies. The emergency services or local authority will tell you where you can find one.
Once you arrive you’ll need to give the police, staff or volunteers your name, address and anything else they may need to know.
