ANXIOUS ?   CONFUSED ?   MESSED UP ?  WORRIED ? SAD ? ANGRY ? HELPLESS ?

The Outside In Counselling Service for 11-25 year olds is based in the Infoshop. We offer counselling appointments both within the Infoshop and in the Wrexham Secondary Schools.

Issues that counselling can help you to look at……..

• Managing your anger
• Worries about sexuality
• Feelings of self hatred
• Why you are feeling low and fed up
• Problems at school and home
• Suicidal thoughts
• Unwanted sexual experiences/ experiences of abuse
• Relationships
• Anxiety
• Losses

Longer term counselling can help……..

• Improve your relationships and friendships
• Reduce stress
• Value yourself, make life work for you
• Remember, no issue, subject or worry is too big or too small

So what can you expect from counselling……..

• To be listened to and respected
• Help to talk about anything that maybe bothering you
• Not to be judged or told what to do
• Help to make your own choices and decisions
• 50 min sessions in a private confidential setting
• Confidentiality is taken very seriously and is explained more fully when you have a meeting with us.

Comments from young people who have used the service…

“Someone to talk too who was impartial”

“I have got more confident and now realise it is not my fault and I can start thinking and making choices for myself”.
