In2Change
In2change work with young people aged 11 – 18 years (up to 19th Birthday). We work with people for a number of reasons, and can provide a variety of services focused around what you think would help you at the moment. We can meet you at our office, home, at school/college or in the community – wherever you feel more comfortable at a mutually agreeable time. Some of the services we could provide for you could include:
Information and advice on issues such as alcohol or substance use. Some young people work with us to increase their knowledge of the risks involved with particular substances, where as others ask for support to cut down or stop using substances. This is completely up to each individual.
Support around how drugs or substances are affecting your life.
Informal activities which can help take your mind off current difficulties. For example, activities such as mountain biking or horse riding, and help to get involved in a new interest or hobby.
Support around education, housing, relationships, employment or voluntary work, and other areas of your life.
Information on other services in your area which may also be able to support you if you wish.
To access the service which is open to both males and females you can call and make and appointment, refer yourself or be referred by another agency. There is no charge to access the service, the meeting if held at the Vic are upstairs and there is a lift to access the rooms if needed, if needed In2change will seek suitable translation to ensure the young people can access the appropriate support.

Recognise and celebrate good practice, encourage organisations to review, reflect and develop their existing practice and raise the quality of services for young people in Wrexham County Borough
