Work Experience
In Year 12 you‘ll have a second chance to do a week‘s work experience with an employer.
This is usually arranged so that it is experience of a type of work that is complimentary to what you have chosen to study.
Each school or college varies in how they make the arrangements, sometimes your tutor will make the arrangements with an employer, sometimes you can suggest a suitable placement.
The idea is to give you a chance to find out what work is like and what employers need and it looks great on your CV and any application forms you‘ll be filling out in the future.
