In-house Training
This is training that is provided by the employer whilst you work and can help you to perform your job better and to progress within the company or organisation.
This could be a one-off session to introduce a new aspect of the job e.g. first aid training, food hygiene certificate.
Some employers, particularly large companies and organisations, have their own 'in-house' training schemes e.g. McDonalds and Marks and Spencer.
A training scheme will usually involve a programme of sessions over a period of time that are carried out during your paid working hours with assessments to measure achievements.
